Debora McPhee is a Canadian acrylic and mixed media artist. Although born in High River Alberta, at the age of 5 she moved with her family to West Gore Nova Scotia. It was there in the quiet rural community of rolling hills , babbling brooks and beautiful forests that her interest in art was intensified. She attended Acadia University studding a mix of fine art, art history and other subjects. She received her BA and accepted a summer job at Moraine Lake Resort and found herself back in Alberta, eventually making her way to home town High River after living in both Calgary and Bragg Creek.
Greatly influenced by the color and beauty of nature, her art is a mix of abstraction with natural elements worked in acrylic and mixed media.
